8 TIPS FOR FACING HOT WEATHER

Some of the tips shared can help ease the heat of the heat, as well as help us stay healthy and active in hot weather.

1. The most basic thing to do when dealing with hot weather is to ensure sufficient water in the body. Drink as much water as possible to avoid dehydration. Avoid caffeinated and sweet drinks, which accelerate dehydration.

2. Choose clothes of excellent fabric that helps dissipate heat and sweat. Avoid wearing layered clothing.

3. For women, reduce make-up because some ingredients in cosmetic products may block the flow of sweat, making the face feel hot.

4. Limit outdoor activities and activities that require a lot of energy.

5. Ensure the use of SPF cream suitable for the skin if it is necessary to be involved in outdoor activities.

6. It is better to shower with warm water and not too cold. This is because taking a cold shower will make your body generate heat to replace the heat that has just been lost.

7. You can also try placing or running cold water on the wrist for a few seconds. A major blood vessel is located here, and it can quickly provide a cooling sensation.

8. Eat often but in small quantities. Eating large amounts, especially those with a high carbohydrate content, will increase the metabolic rate, which will make the body feel hot.
