FEM & FBMK RESEARCH FINDINGS SHARING SEMINAR 2024


Serdang, 26 Nov 2024 - The Faculty of Human Ecology has collaborated with the Faculty of Modern Languages ​​& Communication to organize the FEM & FBMK Research Findings Sharing Seminar 2024 with the theme "Global Game Changer in Societal Impact." The seminar was organized jointly for the first time between FEM & FBMK, with the Faculty of Human Ecology as the host. The Waqf, Zakat, and Endowment Management Center (WAZAN) is a strategic partner in these seminars.

The objective of this seminar is to provide a platform for researchers and academic officers to share their research results, further opening up opportunities for collaboration between these two faculties and being a field for intellectual discussion related to social issues from a research perspective, especially current issues. This seminar brought together a total of 29 researchers from FEM and FBMK, as well as 80 graduate students and staff who also participated as participants.

This seminar program was conducted for one day. The research results presentation session was conducted simultaneously involving four (4) seminar rooms. A total of 29 research papers have been presented at the program.

In addition to the presentation of research results, there were two (2) sharing sessions related to research and innovation, namely, a special sharing session entitled "Securing International Grant" was delivered by YBhg. Prof. Dr. Rumaya Juhari, in the morning session. During the afternoon session, Dr. Puvaneswaran Kunasekaran, Editor in Chief - Pertanika Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities, UPM, gave his talk entitled "Publishing in Top SSCI Journals."
