On 11 to 15 January 2016, a total of 2 lecturers and 14 students FEM have been present in Walailak University, Thailand for the program "Political Science Camp: A Journey of Discovery." This is the 2nd time FEM lecturers and students attended the program. Walailak University is expected to come to the university on March 15 to 19, 2016.
The purpose of this program is to train students to become independent and improve "soft skills" when they interact with students and lecturers from abroad. The students attend a discussion session with students from WU and eventually all the students together to present the issue of political science in front of other students and lecturers. A good presentation can be the result of a collaboration between students of the two universities.
Lecturers from UPM and Walailak University also share the knowledge available through two "panel discussion" that lasted throughout the program. FEM Dean, Prof Dr Zaid Ahmad, Prof. Prof. Nurdeng Deuraseh, Dr Anna Wan Mohd Nor, Dr Wan Munira Wan Jaafar and several lecturers of WU presents issues of political science covers topics such as "Building an ASEAN community" and "The similarities and differences between political systems in Thailand and Malaysia." International network established through the sharing of this intellectual.
The program is meant to produce students who are capable of becoming future leaders in the future to hone their talent in public speaking, control program and interact with students from other countries. Lecturers can also contribute by sharing intellectual property with lecturers from abroad. FEM will make every effort to ensure the success of this program in Section 2 UPM on 15 to 19 March, 2016.
