Dean's Message

Welcome to the website of the Faculty of Human Ecology.

Born in 1992, FEM is committed to achieve its mission  for excellence and distinction in a comprehensive and integrated education in the field of human ecology through teaching, research, and professional and community services in order to produce graduates who are aware of and meet the responsibilities towards the Creator and play a role in preserving not only their own well-being but also the well-being of their families, communities and the environment.  Therefore, in line with the mission, it is this faculty primary goal toproduce graduates who are competent, ethical, visionary and resilient that will benefit the mankind. 

There are five departments at FEM to actualize its mission and goals: Department of Human Development and Family Studies, Department of Resource Management and Consumer Studies, Department of Social Science and Development, Department of Government and Civilization Studies and Department of Music. 

To date, FEM offered five academic programs at bachelor level, 13 academic programs at Masters level and 13 academic programs at doctoral degree level.

Other than these programs, FEM also offers a diploma program in Human Development in collaboration with Private Higher Education Institution. 

To all FEM’s website visitors, I would like to welcome all of you to our website and wish you to have a pleasant surfing.   Insya-Allah,  this site will help you get the relevant information about FEM especially study programs, research, professional and community services offered; and all activities conducted.  With an open heart, I welcome constructive views and suggestions in order to improve the site infrastructure (content delivery, information, activities etc.)  so that it becomes more user-friendly and contains accurateand latest information.
