SERDANG, 17 March 2025- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) – Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and the Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC) at the Serdang Briefing Room, Universiti Putra Malaysia

UPM was represented by Dato' Professor Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah, Vice-Chancellor of UPM; while, the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM) was represented by YBhg. Datuk Haji Ruji Haji Ubi, Secretary-General, Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM); , as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Human Ecology, Universiti Putra Malaysia, YBhg. Prof. Dr. Mohamad Fazli Sabri. Encik Andy Ng Yen Heng; MFPC President representing the Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC) Also present at the MoU ceremony were, members of the management of the Faculty of Human Ecology, UPM officers and faculty implementing staff.

The initiative initiated by YBhg. Prof. Dr. Mohamad Fazli Sabri, Dean of FEM; this is expected to pave the way for various future collaboration programs between UPM-KPM and MFPC

This collaboration also emphasizes the importance of academic collaboration in facing global challenges and will share the responsibility to advance higher education and research for regional and global benefits. UPM is committed to strengthening this academic relationship and working closely with MFPC to create meaningful opportunities for both institutions in the future.
