At the same time, the audit supports continuous improvement efforts and assists the faculty in preparing for certification or surveillance audits conducted by external parties. Emphasis was also placed on the core principles of information security, namely confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA), to ensure that organisational information remains comprehensively protected. Overall, the audit process was carried out smoothly. All required information and supporting documentation were fully prepared by the faculty. The audit findings indicated that the level of compliance and effectiveness of ISMS implementation at the Faculty of Human Ecology is in good standing and meets the criteria established by the university. It is hoped that this achievement will be maintained and further enhanced over time in strengthening information security management practices at FEM. News/Photography by: Mohd Aspah Kasim |
