![]() SERDANG, 27 February 2026 – Tausiyyah Series 1 was successfully held at the Read & Relax Corner, Faculty of Human Ecology (FEM), as part of the Tadarus@FEM Programme organised by the Welfare, Sports and Recreation Club (KKSR). The programme forms one of three tausiyyah sessions planned as the highlight of Tadarus Ramadan 1447H, which will culminate in a congregational Khatam al-Quran ceremony. ![]() The tausiyyah was delivered by Ahmad Nasir Mohd Yusoff, Associate Professor at Universiti Putra Malaysia and Chair of KKSR FEM. He is an established Islamic scholar and author, actively contributing to the fields of Islamic civilisation, da‘wah, sociology, and religious education, with nearly 40 academic publications including books, journal articles, and conference proceedings. ![]() The term tausiyyah, derived from the Arabic language, refers to counsel and reminders that guide individuals towards goodness in both this world and the hereafter. This session focused on the tadabbur (reflective contemplation) of selected chapters from Juzuk 12 of the Qur’an, particularly Surah Hud, Surah Yusuf, and Surah Ar-Ra’d. Emphasis was placed on the importance of steadfastness (istiqamah) in upholding truth, patience in facing trials, and firm trust in Allah’s divine wisdom and justice. Among the key lessons highlighted were reminders against arrogance and disobedience as demonstrated by past communities, and the affirmation that true tranquillity is attained through remembrance of Allah and sincere devotion to Him, as stated in Surah Ar-Ra’d, verse 28. ![]() ![]() Delivered in a relaxed yet engaging atmosphere, the session also featured an interactive question-and-answer segment involving academic staff, administrative officers, and support personnel of the faculty. The programme concluded with a quiz session based on the tausiyyah content, during which eight participants received books authored by the speaker as tokens of appreciation. ![]() Overall, the organisation of Tausiyyah Series 1 served to strengthen the spirit of Ramadan among members of the faculty community while fostering a sustained culture of knowledge and reflective engagement with the Qur’an. -End- |
