SERDANG, 15th August 2019 - 10 FEM students with one visiting lecturer had participated in the 3rd International Summer Course Program Family Life Among Agricultural Families in Indonesia: “Family Well-Being Through Tropical Urban Farming” which was organized by Agriculture Institute of Bogor, Indonesia. It was a program joined by the students from Asian’s university and the program duration was 14 days starting from 28thJuly 2019 and end on 10th August 2019.

This program exposed the students to the real situation of tropical urban farming and well-being of the families in Bogor and they also visited some historical places as part of the program outline. By participating in the summer program, the students gained more knowledge and experience about the family well-being through tropical urban farming and they were also able to learn about different culture as there were students from Indonesia, Thailand and South Korea.

The students also visited Ibnu Chaldun University and State University of Jakarta as part of their mobility program in order to experience the study lifestyle and culture of the students as well as to gain knowledge about the universities.

This kind of mobility program is a good platform for the students to learn and build a good relationship with other students from different country and broaden their networking skills as well as boosting their confidence level.
