SERDANG, 28 July - The preliminary round of Putra International Piano Competition was successfully held on the 27-28 July 2019 at the Experimental Theatre, UPM. This event is a collaboration between the Department of Music, Faculty of Human Ecology, UPM and Clavier Music Studio.

More than 200 participants from Malaysia, Australia, Vietnam, China, Japan, Armenia and Singapore took part in this competition. The PIPC offers both Piano Solo and Piano Concerto categories to four different age groups up to age 29. We are honoured to have Prof. Armenia Babakhanian to be our Honorary Artistic Advisor for PIPC.

The finals will be conducted from 20 to 22 September 2019 at UPM. The three-day event includes masterclasses and also concert series.
