In The spirit of Knowledge We Serve, and goodwill in the concept of professionalism, the Department of Human Development & Family Studies, Faculty of Human Ecology was continued a PTJ Lift Community Programmes with Sekolah Kebangsaan Pulau Redang, Terengganu.

This programmes was the continuation of the Exploration Program Student Travel People 3 (JESKI 3) which was held at Pulau Redang in May of last year. On 26 September 2016, there were 31 students and 8 teachers was brought to UPM under Redang Juniors@UPM program with the objective to explore learning through experience and network to strengthen cooperation between School Adoption and Faculty of Human Ecology.

Redang children were brought to visit and experience in the Deer's Farm at UPM Edu Park, Animal Anatomy Museum and the Museum of Human Anatomy. They also have the opportunity to learn about financial management through the game kit with the guidance from Prof Madya Dr Mohd Fazli Sabri and Mrs. Nurhayatul Nira Ramli. In addition, aerobics and sports events were also held.

YBHg Prof. Dr Laily Hj Paim, Dean of the Faculty of Human Ecology was attended the dinner to celebrate the guests who come a long way from Redang. Redang Juniors@UPM  was also express sincere appreciation to Tuan Hj Abd Rahman Bazlan, Assemblyman for Batu Rakit for his supports to this program and was sponsored a bus for the trip to Kuala Lumpur and dinner. Thanks also to all those involved directly and indirectly for the success of Redang Juniors@UPM. Hopefully the kids were lucky in the future.
